Livekite.com– What’s Next?

July 8, 2008

So, I’m going to use this blog as a place to post information about our development and launch of Livekite, but also as a place to post other interesting articles, stories, photos…..you get the picture.

Since Livekite is new, a lot of you may not have heard of us before– here’s one of our videos:

Livekite.com isn’t going to be just another Christian Social Network, but instead– a site that is devoted to the Church 2.0.  We want to develop and deliver the tools for group leaders to being able to connect, share and grow with their members.  Livekite launches with many group management tools– group blogs, forums, Group Messaging, events calendar, photo & video sharing, email, podcasting and most recently—group customization.

Our development list is a mile long and we will never stop evolving the site. Our events calender will soon be upgraded, we’ll add file attachment, chat and the list goes on.

What do you want to see next? If you are a church leader– what tools do you need to fully engage your members?  Is your church open to the idea of creating an online community that will help everyone to stay connected?

By the way, check out this video about the Social Networking Wars…..this is too good.

Livekite.com Launches Online Community for Christian Groups

July 7, 2008

Livekite.com, a new, free Online Community for Christian Groups has launched.  Livekite gives you the tools to create online group pages that allow you to communicate with your group members in a forum, schedule events with email notifications, post photos, videos, blogs and podcasts.  You can fully customize your online community and brand it to match your website. Livekite gives you full control of privacy settings and requires no technical skills to maintain.

Any community that exists in the real world can exist on Livekite.com.  Building and strengthening relationships is simple on Livekite, with user-friendly tools that make a rich exchange of ideas possible.  You can keep your connections meaningful and safe on the web’s premier site developed specifically for Christians.  Livekite is more than just a “Facebook for Christians”. With a visual style and a welcoming and user-friendly format the site should appeal to a much wider age demographic than Facebook.  Also, Livekite’s content will be much safer and cleaner, yet still creative and expressive for our members.
